I see it all the time at the body shop. Besides the body damage usually one of the wheels is fubar as well. Usually they are stock wheels which we can get if its not too old or we can get reconditioned ones as well. However, a lot of the time they are aftermarket wheels and they are discontinued and not available even after only one year which really screws over the customer because insurance just gives them a dollar amount and thats it. I'm guessing the customer has to go buy another set of different wheels at this point.

Question is, whats the JK aftermarket wheel thats most likely to still be current and available several years from now should I need a replacement? There are a lot of really sick wheels that look great on the JK but are they still going to be around? My first guess would be the AEV wheels. Any ideas?

X4 for the Cragar Soft 8s... when the world ends in a nuclear holocaust, only cockroaches and Cragar Soft 8s will still be around.

I don't think your concern is really that valid among jeep wheels. Maybe the kmc or some, but anything you see in 4WD or Qtech will be around forever
