lod rear bumper/tire carrier

Which position are you guys mounting the tire mount at? The tire carrier gives you three options, I will be running 35s, just wondering if the middle position is a good spot. Seems like all of the pictures i've seen from searches have theirs mounted in the center.
Also, the tubes that come together and have 1 bolt through them that the tire mount is welded to seems a little loose, is it supposed to be a tight fit? Has anyone had an issue with larger tires and only having one bolt hold the tire on? Seems like the tubes should come together tighter.
As for the hi lift, I wonder if you need to use carriage bolts or if regular bolts, washers and lock washers would work ok.

I am looking for a rear bumper+carrier that has adjustable height like this one, so I can raise it as high as possible when offroad, but low enough to get some rear view visibility when driving in the concrete jungle.
How difficult is it change the mounting height once the tire is installed?
Can it be moved up and down to a new setting without removing the tire?

Anyone else have issues with the locking pin being hard to disengage ?
(it's hard to grab on to).
I had a small tab welded on there to allow for easy disengage once the tire swing out engages the pin. Will post pics shortly.
Still very happy with the quality of the bumper, the matte finish, the snug fit.
Now of course i can't see out the back using my mirror with my 35 on there but that's a different issue

Yes! It's a pain. Most of the time, i just open the carrier until it just barely gets to the point of engagement simply so i don't have to try and play around disengaging it. That locking pin and the cheap latch/handle are my only two qualms, the rest of the bumper is excellent.

This bumper is great! It installs with pretty much no issues and looks amazing! I love the rear lights.
I did how ever have 2 problems with this bumper.
#1. Had to wait 7 weeks for delivery and 11 weeks for the jerry can holders and trail rack!!! (Had to wait 10 weeks for the front bumper)
#2. The locking pin is a bitch to grab onto and unlock. I think I'll have to weld something onto it so I can grab it.
