I used carrier bolts just a tad bit longer and I don't need to remove the tire or to get the lift off.

Do you have pictures of your setup? I don't see any way to bolt it up between the rack and the tire without removing the tire, but I was able to bolt it between the rack and the Jeep with the tire still on.

I just got mine finished up tonight. I am runnin 37's. I mounted it at the highest position. I also put a weld bead down each side of the mount onto the frame. When you swing the tire carrier open, it would bow down on the pass side from the weight. I also welded the tire mount on instead of that little bolt they give you. It will shake and rattle if you don't weld it!!

Drill small holes and I used self tapping screws I coated in Black RTV to seal the holes.
