Default LoD Rear Bumper and HiLift Jack

Just installed my LoD rear bumper with tire carrier. I've got 2 L-shaped brackets left over, and assume they're for holding a Hi-Lift jack. Does anyone have pics of a Hi-Lift on their LoD Gen II Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier?

Thanks!

Nope, Those L brackets go on the frame for the tire mount and line up with the factory isolators to keep the frame in tight to the tail gate. As long as we are talking about the same thing.

I had the same question when I installed mine, they are new for Gen 2 and the on line instructions didn't have them.

Hadn't even thought of that with the metal box mount that goes on the tailgate and holds the snubber... my tire carrier is good and snug. But I'll put the L-brackets in position. Thank you.

Some challenges with LoD. Third box broke open in shipping, and I requested a parts list to ensure everything was there. No response to either me or Dave at Northridge. Asked for an updated installation sheet, since it's been modified since WOL did his write up in Project JK. Again, no response.

Have you figured out a way to mount the jack on there?

I would pm wayoflife, He has the bumper and works with LoD. I think it just bolts down on top of the frame though.

If you get those extra bumper isolators on, please post pics as I have these as well and have no idea how they mount.

Thanks!!!

As soon as I put them on, I'll take pics. If I can figure it out.

as mentioned, the brackets attach to the side of the tire-carrier frame and are used to push up against the factory rubber isolators. the hi-lift attaches on top of the frame.
