LoD Rear Bumper
Just installed my LoD rear bumper.
Sweet, except for one thing.
The gate won't close with the stock Rubicon spare tire mounted.
I didn't order the rear tire carrier 'cause I didn't want the hassle of opening it and closing it everytime the dog gets in and out.
It never occured to me that the new bumper would not accomodate the stock tire and wheel combo.
Stupid me I guess, but who would by such a stout off road bumper and have tires smaller than the stock Rubi set up?
Now I've got to figure out how to raise the spare about two inches.
Does anyone have any brilliant and cheap solutions?
Thanks

the overall tire diameter would be the restriction...
how high does the bumper come up to the bottom of the gate?
which brings something else to mind....
It's a "JEEP thing"... so do it the "right way". isnt it a good enough excuse to do a body lift?
