No problem. I'm just glad that I figured out that I needed to do that BEFORE I pressed the lugs into the carrier :-)

I love mine. I just bought the Gen 4 shorty with swing away tire carrier about 6 weeks ago and couldnt be happier. Before I had the bumper on I had the license plate relocation kit so when I got it installed I forgot about this. The picture shows it on but I have since removed and put license plate back in the OEM position. I also just purchased yesterday from Chris at LOD the armor lite mid width front bumper so I am anxiously waiting for it to arrive so I can get it installed. I still need to grab the trail rack and other mounts for the rear for it but that will come next month or so. Very happy with the LOD product(s). I have found Chris is great to deal with and worked with me on my purchases.

Does yours make any noise? I have the same bumper/carrier and everyone now refers to it as the carrier of doom. It's so loud I am debating if I should cut it up and make $1400 worth of scrap metal. I've spent a good 10 hours trying to fix it. Others have looked at it. Even rolling off the 1" curb of my driveway it makes a massive clunk. My other LoD products are flawless though...

Yes I know exactly what you are referring to. When I was leaving jeep beach mine started making a noise but wasn't that bad. Then when I got home it progressively got louder. I took it in to the shop I deal with and had them look at it. I even made a video of me backing out of garage and the sound it made when it lowered off driveway. What they found and I will try and verify again was a bolt was too long and started hitting/rubbing. They shaved it down and tightened everything back up again they said and it had been flawless since. No noise at all.

I have the same "rattle" when going over big bumps or train tracks. Can you please post a picture of the bolt that was cut?

Pxb006, can you post pics of the 35s in the 37 spot? I'm curious if it looks too high.

Im interested in the LOD front shorty bumper and am wondering where would I find the best price for one. I would love to find one at 10% off or something like that. Is this possible?

I would call lod direct. You will not find it 10% off anywhere but you may be able to work a deal. I have the rear bumper obviously but I just installed the armor lite mid width front bumper 2 weeks ago. They are really easy to work with. If shipping is an issue then you can probably go thru northridge and get 5% off with free shipping maybe.

Northridge is usually 10% off and free shipping.

Not in lod as well as a ton of other things. In fact I believe nothing is offered at 10% off anymore. Most is 5%. Look at sponsor page about it.
