Default LoD Gen.4 rear bumper plate relocate questions

So...just finished up installing my Gen4 shorty tonight and have some questions on what some of you guys have done. I didn't get the linked tire carrier, and the license plate is blocked more than I know cops would like. I'm going to relocate it to the spare...but have some questions before buying anything.

1st delimma: By design the spare tire is sucked up to the swing gate frame, which leaves some space between the mount flange (where the studs are) and the wheel. Because of this the Rockhard relocate kit would require some spacers to take up the space. I have a lathe so making something up isn't an issue, plus it would limit/control the "squeeze" on the tire. If there's another kit out there you guys recommend before going this route let me know!

2nd delimma: Cops around here are sticklers for technicalities, so I need to run a license plate light as well. The ORO kit seems like the best bet, plus has the 3rd brake light. If I buy the Rockhard relo, Northridge has a package deal. My question is where have you guys routed the wiring on LoD's swing gate?

Obligatory pics

Tag.

I'm days away from ordering this same bumper. I planned on using the Rock Hard/Off Road Only mount that NR4x4 sells.

I'm too am interested in wiring solutions. Lets see what you guys have!

Figured I'd update this. I pulled the trigger on the Rockhard/ORO combo from Northridge. To soak up the clearance behind the mount, I used extra isolators I bought for my shackles. I bought 2 Daystar kits which ended up working perfect, since this took 2 isolators per wheel stud.

For wiring I drilled holes in the swing gate and ran into the cab where the taillight wiring goes (pic doesn't show that step). Still have to cover the wires...just haven't made my mind up on what I want to use. All in all I'm pretty pleased with the whole set-up. Tomorrow I have to finish wiring this, cut all the fenders, and wire in MCE dual purpose LED side markers. Busy Saturday!

Thanks for the update. Any pictures of everything finished up? I'm hoping for delivery this week or next.

Or for free, you could drill two new holes in the license plate and shift it an inch to the driver side.

That said, I have many friends in OH with TJs and the plates wrapped around corner. No known issues yet with that.
