I went with non linked as I wanted fuel on both sides, not possibly on the door linked model.

I have the linked shorty with zinc coating. After realizing I made a mistake in ordering the shorty, I changed my order to the full width. I looked at some more pictures and decided to go with the shorty after all. The guys at Northridge were good throughout the whole process and were not peeved at all.
The bumper is solid although it has a wiggle on big bumps. Doesn't bother me. It's a Jeep, not a Lexus.
I've bounced it off ledges and there's not a scratch on it.
The tire bracket has some holes so you can run a third brake light.

If only the front was in the budget too... Thanks for the info!

I prefer non-linked, but that's personal preference as I wheel hard and don't want the energy of an impact sent into the tailgate. If that's not an issue for you, the linked is nice for everyday life.

LoD can't compete on pricing with resellers. So, you'll get a better deal via Northridge. Pretty sure you can get 10% off and free shipping.

I decided the linked system was better suited for my DD, so I ordered the linked shorty and rock sliders from Northridge last week. Can't wait!
