you think a normal WARN winch would be offset like that? i like LoD and like the front bumper but not having to do extra work just for it to be right

I have a plan to fix it....I'm just waiting to see if loD steps up to the plate and offers to replace it including freight and labor to remove and replace.......
I bet given the chance they will make it right. I doubt they will pay Labor though. I have never seen a MFG cover labor on any warranty item.

If they cared about their customers and wanted people to keep buying their stuff they would send him a new bumper (with the fix) and pay for shipping plus the shipping to send the bad one back. Especially if they knew they were being watched and critiqued on how they handle this!

Why shouldn't they pay for the labor?? I paid $88.00 per hour to have the front and rear bumpers installed in good faith that they were designed properly......why should they skate on this....they are the ones who didn't have the insight of this issue.....Not that any of this matters as they have not responded to any of my three emails.....maybe I'll call them in the morning..................

If you look close at the project jk white unit posted above, you will see the drum is also mis-aligned with the fairlead...............poor engineering.....

Does the alignment really matter? I have never had a winch before so excuse the noob question.

Good luck getting them to respond to emails. The first email I sent them took two weeks to respond to, the second one I sent took six weeks to respond to. I tried calling multiple times as well, and couldn't get anyone on the phone. They lost any chance of getting my business because of that.
