Question lockers Front or Rear?

My next project is to install lockers. My question is where would It benefit most. The front or rear?

Do the rear first.

If you have the money, both.

If you don't, the rear. 90% of the time, you're rear is pushing forward a lot more than the front is pulling.

Get a Detroit and call it a day.

I concur. I've had times where I broken parts and had to come off of the trail in 2WD. I've had to do it in front only and rear only. Even with lockers, the front doesn't do nearly the work of the rear.

if your on a budget get an aussie locker for the front axle. best $280 i ever spent.

Not for the rear yet but you could get a Trutrack or Detroit

Thanks. Is this a DIY installation or look like re-gearing complicated stuff that need a bunch of tool that doesn't have name yet ??

I had them put my lockright in the front when my gears were done, doesn't look hard to do though from what I've read. I really need to pull mine out and install a thicker thrust washer, I'll let you know then, haha.
