There's more, many more just on your question alone... Front/rear is debated, search there's a ton on here about both.
I am going rear first, as to me it makes the most sense, climbing you have more weight over the rear, and I have a d30 up front.

I got dura trac In the front and detroit in the back, cuz you never know when ur gonna need all the help to get out of a shitty situation and your gonna be glad you have them front and rear plus there automatic lockers

I have an Aussie in my front. I was in the same place and decided to go with the front first as I was building my 30. With how it performs, I doubt I will go with a rear locker. It really helped to have felt tires locked to grip the rocks and get your line.

Did the rear first. I'm surprised how little I use the front locker.
I have ARB's front and rear. I try a trail without them then if I get hung up I back out and engage them and go at it again.
Helps me get a better feel of what my rig is capeable of.

My thinking, I'd rather stay safely on my line and have my locker(s) on then try without and get myself in a shitty position.
I only have a front locker for now (all I could afford) and I'm my opinion while its usually the rear that takes the brunt of the vehicle weight, it's generally more planted, where as the front is more likely to lift a tire. And the front is what guides you thru your line, the rear follows. So if I had to choose again I would still choose front first.

Probably depends on what type of wheeling.
Front locker would probably be better for flatter terrain,muddy...
Help pull you thru...
Rear locker would probably be better to push you up steep obstacles, rock crawling...
That said for any given type of terrain if I had to choose only one I would go with rear. With fronts locked in the jeep tends to not steer or respond as well.
