Default A little help with lift decision

Hello there. I have a 2009 X, 3.73 gears, auto and am trying to decide which way I want to go with my lift. My rig has the following springs stock - 13 driver, 14 passenger, and 56 rear. I jumped the gun and bought some Rubicon Unlimited springs that are 17, 18, and 59 from a fellow JKF'er on the billboard. The day before I received the springs I hit a local off road shop and they had Rubicon Unlimited take offs that were 15, 16, and 59 along with shocks and a complete Teraflex 2.5 BB. The donor jeep was a 2010 Rubicon Unlimited that had 2800 miles on it. The owner had the dealer put the BB on when new, and now they decided on a larger lift and tires. The local shop offered me the entire set(springs, shocks, and BB) for $40.00 and I didn't think twice about that purchase.

I am going to run Goodyear Duratrac 33x12.5x15 on MB72 black wheels. I know that with this set up, I am not going to need much room to get them to fit.

So now comes the time for the big decision. I have 2 sets of Rubicon Unlimited take offs and the budget boost. Which do I go with??

1st - 17, 18, and 59 which should net approx 4" front and 3" back. Might be more than I need with 33's.

2nd - 15, 16, and 59 which should net approx 2" front and 3" back. Might look better with 33's.

3rd is to just use the BB and sell the other springs knowing exactly what it will look like.

Any help is appreciated!

You can't go wrong anyway. It's your preference. Personally I would go option 1 because I know myself an would want 35s down the road when it's more a trail rig then the new car feeling. I am going from 35 to 37s on next set. Just my thoughts.

If staying 33s then option 2 or 3 to jeep a lower center of gravity although I like the wheel well look of the option 2 before option 3. I think I am getting confused with options now lol

I say you try them all out, in variation, around 3000miles or so, and see how it feels each way. Then that way you know what you sell is of no importance, and you gave it a decent shot to perform to your specifications.

Or just BB it, go 35s and never look back, good luck!!! Hows about some pics?

Finally got my tires/wheels installed! No lift yet, might be doing that tomorrow. I have still not decided which way to go.

Let me know what you guys think!

Don't think I would do 4" in the front without at least lower control arms and adjustable track bar. Jeep's looking good.

After doing a bit more research, I don't think that the 17/18 front 59 rear will give me more than about 2 inches. Kinda wondering if the budget boost would be the best bet. That way I know exactly how much lift I will be getting.
