just slightly higher RPM between the two, you will likely be happy with both, frankly its hard to tell the difference on the road between 4.88 and 5.38.
OP has a manual. 5.38's will have him up around 3k rpm on the freeways. 4.88 or 5.13 would be the better options, putting him down in the 2600-2800 range.

Just an open carrier for 3.73 and numerically higher for the front (in addition to the gears and overhaul kits of course).
