I picked up the D cell clips from a local Police supply place. They were tough to find - I figured Walmart or Home Depot would have them with the flashlights. When I asked about them, they had no idea what I was talking about.

I've been looking for the Maglite clips to no avail... I've been online, to Walmart and Lowes, where else should I be looking for these clips?

I ran into the license plate problem. I'm registered in Texas, but work in Arkansas. Texas has two plates, Arkansas one. I thought about it for about 5 min and then figured I rarely end up in Texas anymore, the cops in Arkansas won't care... so now it's under my front seat.

I'll probably transfer the registration to Arkansas because they seem to have less strict laws regarding vehicles, judging by all the electrical tape I've seen holding the cars together. Plus no vehicle inspection, means no removing my psycho amount of lights.

To sum up... move to Arkansas.
