Just had mine sprayed with Line-X and it turned out fantastic.

Stripping it down was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. One tip...when removing the heat shield, use a oscilating multi-tool with a toothed blade to get the bulk of it out. Then lay a towel on it and pour some lacquer thinner on it. Let it soak for a minute then hit it with a putty knife. Comes right off.

Those of you who had it done... Did you put all your plastic trim back in or leave it out?
Any pics?

Line-X put mine back on and installed wire loom around the wires bundles that ran under the carpet.

Line-X is worth the money.

Same here. Put all the trim back in. It hides the wires.
