Default Linex cost is this a good deal?

Have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler jk. To linex the whole tub and cover also the painted area were the hardtop sits on top, plus come out a little bit were the door Jams are to create a type of foot protector.

Me having to do all prep, removing chairs, carpet, plastics, center console, wire hardness, and scraping off the ugly sound dampening stuff in the trunk area that they did for my year jeep. They want to charge me 850.

Basically I do all the prep and they put down the linex plus of course some masking.

Is 850 a good deal or too much? Thanks I live in Portland Oregon

I got my JKU done for CAD $450 + tax. I did all the prep work and delivered them a stripped jeep. This was 3 years ago but I don't think USD $850 is a good deal if you have to do the prep work.

Yea that was Canadian. Some places here charge up to $800 as well when I was looking.

You should also get the top 1-2" of the tailgate exterior sprayed. It will prevent the paint from chipping if you're pulling stuff in & out through the back window. I run no rear window all summer so it made sense.

Sounds good thanks bro ❗️ just talked to another line x place even closer to my house had no idea it existed the owner owns a 4dr wrangler as well and told me he would do mine for 650. Seems closer to your number we have no sales tax here in Oregon. Thanks for the help!

Get the goop wet and use a chisel, it'll peel right up. There's no need to make it too hard. The water really softens it up.

Took me 30 minutes to remove all the sound dampening out of a JKU. I used gel paint stripper, let it sit then scoop it out.
