I still wouldn't do it for long term. If it isn't a water tight seal, stuff will get between the mating surface and act like sandpaper. I wonder if that part can be clear bra'ed?

Agreed, I didnt like the holes in the Jeep. I went with Fab Fours though and I'm very happy with the results.

I did the outside the body line-x on a TJ years ago. That was back when the UV resistant guaranty cost an arm and a leg. It looked great and held up very well for the 2 1/2 years I had the jeep after that.
