did this add any heat/noise insulation?

 

the latches are a little harder to close, but you can adjust how tightly they are screwed to the freedom tops. as far as insulation goes - who knows - the weather has been beautiful and the top is hanging in my garage. i did notice a difference in noise, and that the echo effect in the cabin was gone, road noise was less and the stereo sounded better.

That looks pretty bad as*! Great idea! I was going to rattle can the inside of mine but think I'll get a quote from my local dealer first! I figure it would have taken me a few days to do this so when I factor my time into the process, it might just make sense to have them do it. Nice!

Looks great I have never seen it done on the interior. It's hot here in LV so would like to do it if it cuts down on the heat.
