You will absolutely want to run limit straps. Running limit straps will take all of the load off of you shocks and let all the weight of the axle and wheels hang on the strap instead of the shock, drive shaft, brake lines, ABS wires, ect. They are very cheap insurance.

We highly recommend them and run them on our rigs.

Is there any certain brand I should consider, and do these mount up in existing holes or will I have to fab it?

In So Cal we have Makinsie's and Kar Tec,,, I'm sure there are others,, do a google search. Also,, do a good job of measuring your length,,, and know that for every 12" of strap, it will likely stretch 1 more inch. Good luck

We use the Synergy limit straps. About $25 each.
