Default light bar with trek top nx

so does anyone have a windshield mounted light bar and a trek top.. i just put the soft top back on for the summer and its the first time since i mounted my light bar.. it is now unbearably loud and hard to drive because the light bar throws way to much wind up and over right onto the back of the top.. has anyone ran into this issue or know of anyways to combat it? because im really starting to consider going back to my hardtop full time and i hate doing that for the summer

Its ur rear aluminum bar. I took carpet padding from a job site and stick it between the support and the sound bar. Problem solved Click image for larger version

does that help with the wind noise? because honestly i forgot about the bar smacking the sound bar and im definatly going to do that because that sound is annoying.. i was talking more like wind noise and crazy vibration.. almost like when you have one window down slightly if that makes any sense

I drove from Canada back home. I had the soft top on. I was closed. I was driving over 65MPH+. The noise through the top was nerve wrecking. I was about to stop and by duct tape seal the section were the top meets the windshield frame. I just dropped the speed to 60-65, that dropped the noise. I can recommand doing the same: drive slower. What light bar do you have?

PS the strobe lights on my work van also make noise on the highway.

52'' newcomdigi and i know my mount is small which creates some of my issue but its just the wind like i said throwing up over top and slamming down on the backseats. i had an issue with a wind defelector before i took it off and the top was great but now with the light bar its back.. sad i know the issue just don't know if anyone has figured out a way to stop it or if i just man up and go back to the hard top.

I don't know of any other wind noise. That's the only sound mine makes.
