if you are concerned with the potential to have your factory warranty voided, that would be a reason NOT TO LIFT.

2nd what is needed to do it RIGHT
depends on how big of a tire you are hoping to run.

I was wanting about 2.5" with 35" tires. I have no idea what parts are involved to do it right either.

well, with just 2.5" of lift, you'll want to make sure that you either get a kit that comes with shocks that are short enough to prevent your front drive shaft from tearing it's slip shaft boot on the exhaust cross over - OR, make sure to install either exhaust spacers or cross over relocation and for good measure, install a new front drive shaft as well. most 2.5" kits do not come with an adjustable front track bar and, while it's not "needed", having one will allow you to recenter your front axle. aside from that, you're good to go.

sorry, i can try to break that down into something more understandable if you need.

of course. a good 2.5" kit will come with new longer rear sway bar links and that will allow you to install the factory rear links (which are much longer than the factory fronts) up front. with that, you'd be good to go.

simple terms: call Dave or Sean at northridge and order a teraflex 2.5 inch spacer lift or the coil lift depending on what you plan to use your jeep for. They can help you with anything.
