Look at the FAQ in this forum for the alignment specs which are 6-7 deg of Caster.

Directional stability should drive your Caster angle, not turning radius or pinion angle, particularly because you say will be on the road almost all of the time.

BTW if you have/install a locker in the rear, the right gears and a set of MT tires, you maintain your momentum (which requires some practice and planning) and you plan ahead where to stop, there are plenty of places off road you can go with a 2WD vehicle.
Well the only reason I asked is because I read a post saying that you want as posotive of caster as possible for a smooth ride but if you go to posotive your front drive shaft will start to vibrate. I believe it was a post by wayoflife but I am not going to missquote him so it may not have been him.

I will Just set the control arms to 23" as recomended in the wright up.

thanks for the input though

I am having the same issue. I own a 2WD unlimited and am debating a 2.5 BB with 35s
or a four wheel drive conversion. Any suggestions on this??

Hey looks good, I think it will look sick when you put larger tires on it. Way to do what you want, because in the end, well it's yours and you gotta make yourself happy.

Looks great! You'll have a lot more fun in a Jeep that you like to be seen in so go for it.

It does look good and it will look great once you get some tires.

And just think you won't have to worry about the front pinion angle

Can you post a few pics of the front end suspension and steering linkage?
