I don't know how much weight plays that big of a factor, but I haven't had a rear seat since the day I bought it and I still have my factory bumpers. The AEV wheel and the Duratrac tires are about the lightest aftermarket tire and wheel combos you can get.
I'm almost never driving in the city....1 mile from my house I'm on the highway running 70-75mph and not stopping until I get to work....50 miles later.
When I switched from my factory Rubi tires (what, 32's?) and went to 35's, my RPM's decreased by 200, which helped a little. I'm now at 2200 rpm's at 65 mph.

From the postings here it defiantly looks like the 12's and newer get better mileage.
I run 37 mud grapplers with 5:38 gears and a Hypertech programmer and get 13-14 around town and 16 on my road trips. Squeezed 17 mpg out of on one road trip.
Overall happy with it for a big ole lifted rig.

Even with the AEV ProCal to correct the speedometer, my dash MPG is always higher than the hand calculated mileage. My dash shoes an average of 21.5 mpg, but my true average as calculated by Fuelly is 20.1 mpg.

While we're talking about mpg, how much is my speedometer/odometer off with my upgrade to 285/70/17's
And if/when I upgrade to like 315's?
I have a manual so I've avoided buying a chip reprogrammer as I don't see how it could help with a stick shift, other than resizing what size tires I have

Procal is not super beneficial for us Manuals, but the I have several buds that have bought different chips with their manuals and feel a difference. Especially the hypertech and others like it.
