Default Lift tool check list

I just got the last box for my lift and will be installing it this weekend - what hand tools do you wish you had to make it easier?

Thanks Clayton Offroad for shipping out so quick and allowing me to call numerous times with questions!

What I have so far:
- Hydraulic jack
- jack stands - 2, max height about 20" thinking about getting 2 more
- 1/2" impact wrench and metric impact socket set
- 1/2" inch socket set
- magnetic angle finder
- various open end wrenched, screwdrivers
- after seeing the size of the nut on the control arms - need larger open end wrenches
- small wheel grinder
- drill and tap - required to install lower bump stop
??? any other suggestions?

Torque wrench. A good one. You may want a breaker bar too.
You also may or may not need a coil compressor. You can "rent" one from Autozone, etc.

Also, how complete is your socket set?

A pitman arm puller, if needed. A good one.

Patience as well
A buddy to help.
Good luck.

I scored a portable AC unit! - it's hot and since my garage is not usable, I'll have a portable tent with the AC unit funneled to the work area

Another set of hands is what helped me the most! Find a friend who is at or above your level of wrenching and feed them and promise them beer after you are done!

I found coil compressors to be quite helpful when installing my lift. Got them from autozone on their tool loan program, cost=$0. X2 on a friend to help out, you never know when you'll need an extra pair of hands.

I am wondering the same thing. I will be installing a lift before too long and hope I have all the necessary tools. Gotta get a torque wrench though!
