Ok so I spent all my money on a new JKUR and am looking at getting a house and LASIK so that should tell you the kinda pickle I'm in money wise.

I'm looking at putting a lift and 35's in my jeep but the budget is thin. I don't do any extreme rock crawling but it's also no where near a Mall Crawler. It is my daily drive so I have to take that into account when hitting a tough obstacle. I understand the theory of spending more overall by buying cheep now and having to replace later on.

The two brands I'm looking at are Rough Country 3.5" and their 4" X-Series and the Rubicon Express equivalents or each. (I know, a lot of you just cringed) The more appealing right now is the RC 3.5" kit with shocks @ 499. Mind you I still have wheels,tires, re-gear (currently running 3.56), and possibly a drive shaft or two. (Each one of those have questions of their own)

Any help would be appreciated. I don't like my jeep sitting at stock height and I can't wait for two years to get the money saved up to put the best on right now. Thanks guys.

Others that are better are teraflex kit, RK stock mod kit, maybe even look at Metalcloak low end kit.

There are a lot of threads about lifts. If you are going to run 35s I would go with a tereflex 2.5 budget boost. After 2.5 inches of lift you are going to have to look at other things you will have to address. Staying at 2.5 reduces the need for other components. Just my two cents.

I've tried looking through the previous threads and it's like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes.

The teraflex 2.5" is available with 9550 shocks for less than a grand. Its a great lift and product customer service is second to none. 35s can fit with this lift, but if your daily driver, I would suggest keeping the tires at 33's. It makes it much better for everyday living. the 2.5" lift is perfect with 33's imo.

Look to a 3" system of your choice.
Fit 35's easily.
I like the 3" SPORT progressive system pair them with the shock of your choice and enjoy!

Since you are on a budget, why are you even considering a 3.5-4" lift? And driveshafts? And fixed arms instead of adj (or cam bolts. Really?)? And no front axle centering. And a drop pitman instead of a flip? And ... ?

Grab a 2.5" BB, trim the fenders, maybe get some gussets welded on, and call it a day.
