I'm sure te shocks are not top of the line per say. They came with the kit and the kit itself was already cheap. U think if I swap them out and air down a little I could maybe see a difference. They feel much stiffer but I assumed that was te tires

Check the torque of all your bolts... if they are not properly torqued you can get all types of popping sounds. It's a cheap (possible) fix and it only takes a few minutes... if that isn't the problem then I recommend TeraFlex or Rock Krawler (that's just my 2 cents).

The shocks are most likely your problem though, not the kit itself. Shocks are almost always the main problem and then if not those, the coil springs are either too stiff or too soft. Every kit is different and you could go through 10+ kits before you find something you love and don't hate in any little way lol

What PSI are you running in your tires? Check that. For 35s they average between 26-32PSI. We run 26PSI and have a nice ride, any more and it's STIFF. Even a 4PSI difference is huge for on road manners.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'm going g to start by switching out my shocks with something better. Does anyone have a recommendation on a shock brand?
