I Have a 2012 with the 2.5" Rough Country Coil Lift. And It does great. I can Fit 35s No problem when I get them. When disconnected the flex is awesome! I have done lots of trails and beat the heck out the suspension and still not one problem! I've wheeled with people who have other lifts such as RK, Teraflex, and AEV, and My Cheaper RC Kit is doing what they are just as easy.
RC ALL THE WAY!!!! Soon I want the 3.5" !!!!!!!!!!!!
And my jeep next to a stock RUBI

Zone, Rough Country, & Tuff Country? I do light wheeling mostly sand, gravel and bowls in the Indiana badlands. I am aware one upgrade leads to another but would like to start out slow. Please help!

Wheel spacer danger
I spoke with an instructor of mine today, Ray, at Boeing that said he had 1 1/2" cast aluminum wheel spacers on a VW. He went off roading and on his way home his wheel spacer failed causing him to roll his vehicle 17 times and ended up in a ravine. Granted this was 20 years ago, but I wonder what the safety implications are of utilizing wheel spacers. I have not read anything as of recent that shows a pattern of wheel spacer failure. Is there a resource I may access that might educate me on the use of wheel spacers?

There's 2 kinds of spacers. the crap kind that will fail, which is basically a spacer that has no studs. It makes it so you can't screw your lugs on all the way badly shorting your studs. And then there is the kind I would buy. The ones that bolt onto your studs and give u new studs. Nothing wrong with these.
