Default Which lift kit is right?

Hello all,
I have a 2012 JKU and I want to put 35 on it. Will a 3" lift work for this? I have been looking but have not found a lot of kits for 2012. Also will I need to change the gear ratio for 35's. Thank you in advance for any input you guys can give me.

A 2.5 lift will work with 35s if you bumpstop correctly if you trim your fenders no aftermarket bumpstops are needed. I don't know anything about the 2012s gearing wise so that question would be better answered by someone else.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Just want to clear 35s or are you going to actually wheel it? Also, need to know your current gear ratio before people can give advice on whether it needs changed.

We have a great 3.5" JK suspension lift . Though it would be best to know what type of wheeling you plan on doing. If trails, hill climbs and a few minor obstacles are in your future this kit with sway bar disconects would be great. If hardcore is in you plans then a new game plan would be needed.

you will not need to regear at all on the 2012. The motor has plenty of power. Whats your budget for a lift kit, and what do you plan on doing with your jeep? Fire roads, rock crawling or mostly highway?
