It is a universal kit, so the same kit for a 2 or 4 door, thus i netted 4" on the lift. The kit was $550 from 4wd

Matt your rig looks sweet and that's the look I'm really looking for. I will look into that lift. Thank you.

Ball how's the ride quality with RC I know there cheap, but I've been hearing good and bad things about them in the forum.

Plus I'm in South Florida, when I do go off roading the terrain the down here is coral rock and deep black mud. So when I do go out I wanna know that my suspension can handle this terrain. Just a little heads up with what I deal with when I go out and ride.

I like it, some might say it's rough, but they are probably the same people who complain about the hard top leaking and the spare tire squeaking. I have no complaints. I got mine new off CL for $200 too, so I have even less to complain about. I should add though, there are 2 2.5 lifts, I have the coil lift with the 2.2 shocks.

My uncles 2008 "MOAB Industries" jeep also has what appears to be a RC lift, much larger though, and it will have been on there since 2008. It's still in good shape, I think they are about as good as you can ask for in that price range.

Thanks man. Its a great kit and the only kit i have had (big boys included) that did not sag under weight of winch and bumper.

Thanks for the input Matt, I really appreciate and I will look into the full traction lift.

I do wanna get some pro's and con's about Pro Comp and Skyjacker kits. If anyone runs a 2.5-3.5 kit by either Pro Comp or Skyjacker let me what you like about the kit.

well if your budget is 2000 bucks i would say up some more. you will have at least $1600.00 in tires

now if your looking for a cheap lift i would say go with the terra flex 2.5 bb
You can save even more if you go with the one that has shock adapters.

If your going in stages and will go bigger why not save up and do it right from the start.

buy yourself a well put together kit. also buy good quality shocks that will hold you over till you go bigger.

Well Tonka with my budget I'm looking for a lift that is good for its price which is anywhere from $400 to $600. Then on tires I'm debating whether to get bf Goodrich a/t a set of 4 or general tire grabbers and there gonna run me $950 on tirerack. So now I'm around $1300 to $1500. Also, I'm not sure yet if I should keep my stock rims or buy new ones. So if I buy 4 rims for now, I might be able to stay under my budget.

Thank you Tonka for your input as well I will look into the Teraflex kit.

Granted I have a 4 door but I went with the 3.5 inch series 2 lift. Very nice starter lift and is complete. For the money I don't think it can be beat as far as being a complete kit with shocks. I have has mine on for about 7k miles now and haven't had any problems. But if your goal is to simply run 35s there are easier and cheaper ways like others have said. Rubi springs and wheels spacers will get you going or trimming your fenders and doing a BB lift. It's all up to you. I know I for my lift shipped to my door for less than 500. Easy to Install and good customer support.

Great looking rig 12H!! I will look into that lift.

Alrighty guys I have narrowed my search down to these lift kits, Teraflex 2.5 coil lift, I just need to purchase shocks, Full Traction 3" lift, have to purchase shocks as well, Rough Country 3.5 Series II kit.

With these lifts which one will be a great starter kit? I have found the tires and rims that I will be installing with the kit. I have decided on 35' tires with 16 or 17 rims. Don't know yet which rim size to purchase.

Any Suggestions between these 3 lifts?

12H what size spacers did you run with 35's on stock? Can you take a pic of the rear so I can see how far they stick out? Thank you in advance!!

Late reply, but I have decided on the Teraflex 2.5 Coil spring lift kit, I probably put skyjacker shocks for right now then later on I will purchase Teraflex or Bilstein shocks. I will also install a .5 coil spacer to make the lift a 3inch lift. I've been debating on which tires to buy. I will be getting a 35, but don't know what tire to purchase. I've been debating between Duratracs, Terra Grapplers, BF Goodrich A/T, Yokohama Geolander M/T.

Any input on the Geolander M/T?
