Default Lift Install - Front coil spring doesn't look right

Just finishing up getting my FT 3" ultimate lift on.

My issue is front passenger coil spring does not/is not positioned correctly. No amount of persuasion seems to be able to get it sitting properly. Driver's side is fine. It looks like it will compress into the side of the upper rubber stop.

Help please. How should I get this fitting correctly? Should I just flex things so that it works itself into proper position?

I know I need a picture, but that means getting it back up on a jack and taking the wheel off. Which is not possible at the moment.

Thanks

I am guessing it is bowed back and rubbing the rubber bump stop. It would help to know where your control arm lengths are set at.

If all the above ideas dont help you out, its probably a Full Traction issue again.

Check out these threads, its not the first time they've had a problem with bent springs....

I wouldnt blame full traction until you measure your arms. Did you try callin FT tech line?
If only one spring is bowed. its probley a control arm length issue, is your jeep centered on the axle?

I do not think there is a problem with the springs.... I have not called FT yet I just have not had a chance. I finished getting everything on last night at 1am... went to bed got up and took a quick look in daylight and saw the problem.

I figure I have something out of adjustment.

I probably should not have done this myself without someone with me that knew a thing or two about making such a mod. But I read through WOL instructions a half dozen times and thought, yes I can do this.

So I am now home from work and kids grade 1 performances. I will pull out the lights take the wheel off take some measurements and check the things everyone has suggested.

More updates shortly and thanks for the guidance on what to look for/check.

thats the only way to learn! You'll know that lift really well when your done. If anything happens, You'll know just how to fix it.

If it still doesnt work out, give them a ring

Default Measurements and Pictures

Ok so here is how things measure out and I can tell there is a problem I just don't know what direction to go.

Upper Control Arm
Driver side gap = 11/16
Passenger side gap = 5/8

Lower control arm gap
driver side = 1 9/32
pass side = 1 1/4

Upper control arm length bolt center to bolt center
driver side = 19"
pass side = 18 7/8"

lower control arm length bolt center to bolt center
driver side = 23 3/8"
pass side = 23 1/4"

Caster driver side approx 10 degrees
caster pass side approx 8 degrees

Now that I have had a chance to look things over in detail. The springs on both sides are not correctly positioned.

I got one picture here. Trying to figure out how to get more.

Those measurements are taken by losening the jam nut all the way back and measuring the distance between the nut and where jam nut will seat when tightened back down... per the write up by WOL on the install of this particular lift.
