Aev lift will be a good option. Real nice ride for daily driving. I have the 4.5 on a JkU. Had everything in the kit. Added the C gussets to strengthen up the Dana 30 and for 3 years issue free did 5:13 gears and stock drive shafts.

I already purchased a rough country 4 inch x series lift barley used for 400 bucks. I didn't know much about them I know everyone says they suck but I ran 2 on my tj and had no problems. I can't afford the expensive lifts aev would be nice to have though maybe some day.

Default driveshafts on 4" likely

Your first post stated you did not want driveshafts, but you just bought a 4" lift for a street rig. ? Well, do more research on the can of worms that 4'" will do to your suspension geometry. Good luck.

I talked to several people and they didn't have problems with driveshafts. I thought the driveshaft problems were when flexing with the sway bars off .

Flexing makes that driveshafts fail faster. The angle of the driveshaft at 4" of lift will put the rubber boot in a bind and it will wear faster.

So what you all are telling me is to get rid of the 4in and look for a 2.5in cause of it being a daily driver. I already have the tires. What 2.5 lift would be have the least amount of problems

Learn about your suspension and what the parts do and how they interact with each other and you will answer that question for your self. The question you just asked will get you about 20 different answers and will just confuse you.

2.5" is your easiest solution, or pick up a driveshaft and hope whatever kit you got has the other 3-5 things you prolly really need to make the 4" work properly

I am new to the jk. I had a tj before and that was completely different. So anther question is what would be a good starting point to sell the 4in rough country x-series lift with like 5000 miles on it.
