I read people getting 3+" out of a 2.5" kit.

I've got to believe that the manufacturers are maybe stating lift heights from a rubicon or another Jk with the stiffer/longer springs, no?

Since the stiffer springs/longer net most entry level JK's 1" over stock this is why I think a 2.5" lift will net some 3"+?

Thoughts and/or comments?

My hardtop 2-door automatic W/air, a lot of tools and gear, bumper, winch, and fuel weighs 4400 without me.

A stock ragtop sport 2-door out of the showroom weighs just over 3700.

You gotta expect 700 pounds (a 20% weight increase) to make a difference in lift height.
