I have the RK on my 2dr '12. I had to get a new front shaft since the crossover ate up the boot. It really depends on how much down travel you have though.

Default good info

Thanks for all the feedback guys, good stuff. I have other factors that I'm keeping in mind...I have the JKS quicker disconnects already and the JKS rear trac bar brace which reinforces the factory mount on the axle side. It wraps under the axle tube and is welded on. I don't think it would play well with any of the brackets that raise the lower mount.

I'm just trying to accomplish a small lift that'll ride and drive well, clear bigger tires, and not get anything that I won't need. This is easier said than done considering the differences in components offered by various manufactorers with same or similar lift heights.

Its not hard to do if you understand suspension and steering geometry and the limitations of the JK that bolt on kits have to work around. To really do it right you should be looking more about bracket placement and orientation then what brand of lift to get.

+1 to this. Don't rush into anything and make sure you do your research and understand all the implications of adding certain components. Be wary of the keyboard crawlers on the forums that say "brand x is way better than brand y" and " you have to have cuz"..There's a ton of good products out there and there also are a ton of crap ones so make sure your making an informed decision you won't have to go back and make again at a higher cost
