Default Lift Caster Question

Background info:
I installed a Teraflex 2.5" lift a few weeks ago and this past week installed the Teraflex front sway bar disconnnects.

Issue:
I have noticed the space between the coil and the sway bar link is not the same on each side of the vehicle. Is this called the "caster" adjustment? Is this a problem? I am guessing if my lift was a little larger they would not be so close (the link and the coil). But I guess I am more concerned that the space between the coil and link is the not the same on each side.

Below are pics of what I am talking about....

Driver side -

Passenger side -

This is what I found on the service CD -

And will this fix my problem? -

Did your lift come with an adjustable track bar or a front track br bracket. That is your problem. Your track bar is out of adjustment. If you did not get an adjustable track bar or a bracket then you need to get one or the other. It has nothing to do with caster.

My kit did not come with the track bar. That is not bad if that is all I need.

Ummm, maybe it's just the camera lens but is there a chance your coil is bowed out? Have you verified that the coils is seated properly in the lower spring perch?

X2 I am with you on this one. It is possible the camera angle is causing it, but it does looked bowed in towards the SB link.

I unhooked everything on the driver side, made sure the coil was seated ok, and still have the same issue.

Does someone that has the Teraflex 2.5" budget boost and the Teraflex sway bar connects check theirs to see how it looks to compare against mine?

Thanks

Someone will reply to your specific request I am sure, but in the mean time you could try measuring from the rear axle to the front axle on each side (you might want to take the wheels off in case your front wheels are not perfectly straight to measure off of, or measure from underneath). Find a center point for each side and check to see if that is equal. That would be an easy way to see if one side of your axle is shifted forward/back. Just a thought, and I hope your problem is an easy fix. I hate when things go wrong.

It is obviously moved to one side. Any time you lift a coil spung vehicle your track bar will pull the axle to one side. The fix is a adjustable track bar or a track bar bracket. This isn't rocket science.

I am a little confused. How can it be the track bar? The track bar controls side to side movement/position of the axle. Not from front to back. The lower control arms control that. The picture shows the coil closer to the SB link on one side, this could mean the axle is sitting further back on one side, not further out to the side.

His control arms are stock. The axle did not move front to back, without a new trackbar the axle is moved too far to one side. The pics are not telling what is really happening. It doesn't matter how much you lift a coil sprung vehicle, the axle will move to one side because the track bar pulls the axle.
