If money really is not to limiting for you then go big as you are comfortable with.
If you offroad a lot, like rock crawling and/or really hard trails then go real big.
If the daily driver part and having friends get in and out of your jeep matters to you then go smaller.
35s with a 4.5" lift is not bad at all.

On the 2 door you dont want to go very tall anyways

Anything on a 2 dr. taller than 4" is overkill if all you want to run is 37"s...
Keep you're center of gravity low, go with either a 3" lift and 1" body lift, or a 4" spring lift...( Hell, for a d.d., all you really need is 2.5 and flat fenders for 37"s!!! )
Make sure you go with adjustable control arms!!!
Dana 44s will spin 37"s just fine...( gussets, and axle tubes will help if offroading ), you will want to re gear, and look into drive shafts... and for the "looks dept." flatties give you a little more space and give you the cool factor as well.....
But if you have bottomless pockets,,, do whatever the hell you want........

from your avatar your jeep is a 2 door, a 2-3" lift on a 2 door is equivalent to 4-6" on 4 door since the length of the unlimited make it prone to hi-centering.

Since mine is a daily driver with long road trips scattered through every month or two I voted for the 2.5 with 33's. That's what I ordered. Don't wanna kill my mileage. I also only do light to moderate wheeling so it's all I need. Also, I cruise my 75 year old 4'10" grandma around every now and then. She has a hard enough time climbing in and out already. And I got rock sliders with steps. But do whatever YOU want. If you don't care about mod cost and mileage and just want a kick-ass looking Jeep GO FOR IT!

A 2-door with 6" of lift will drive like shit unless you spend major bucks getting everything just right. What do you plan on doing that would require such an extreme solution?
