Default License Plate Problem

In Connecticut it is required that you have a license plate on the front and the back of your vehicle. I am getting the new Rugged Ridge Modular XHD Front bumper with the Non-winch mount. The problem is that there is no mount for a license plate. Has anyone had experience with drilling in a license plate or another way of making it legal. (pics if you got them)

Thanks

nice bumper.

Can't you just drill a couple holes and screw it in?

I have the same exact bumper set up and i just taped my plate where i wanted it, marked and drilled the holes for some metal screws i had. Works great. Very solid.

I would just mark it and drill a couple of holes.

Mark the holes, drill some starter holes, then mount it with self tapping bolts. That's what I did with mine. Thought it looked so much nicer without the plate on it.

Zip ties. They work.

I have the same bumper and all I did was hold the plate centered and used #12 zinc plated self tapping screws. Worked great.

It's on stock front bumper....but if you have a air damn/front skid plate drill some holes in that and place it on like I have. Never had an issue.

Drilled 2 holes in mine. Bolted it on with stainless 1/4" bolts and lock-nuts.
