I got tagged by a MPA cop a few months back. I went almost a year without the front plate.

I mounted it below the bumper to that splash guard thing together with a license plate bracket from my old car.

any new ideas on mounting the front license plate? I have the rugged ridge xhd front bumper and will be removing the end caps which doesnt leave alot of real estate. I have the aluminum hawse fairlead and was thinking of pinching the plate between the fairlead and the bumper and having it sit above the fairlead. has anyone else done this and if so, any pics?

i can't believe with all the worthless junk that companies are making out there, that they haven't come up with a licence plate bracket to attach to a hawse fairlead.

The car dealers have some strong ass magnets for their plates...that would def work, the plate will not go anywhere...

I also have the rr front bumper and have no front plate. 2 years and no problems!!

Tap a couple of holes into to the top edge of the Hawse fairlead and use a spring loaded piano hinge or a friction hinge to attach the plate. Put it together with Red Loctite and it won't be going anywhere.

Don't have to overthink it. I strapped my front plate to the sun visor on the passenger side. If I need to I just flip down the visor and whoala, one license plate displayed to the front of the vehicle.

I used two short lengths of chain and hung my plate securing it to a cross beam right behing the bumper.
