License plate mounting options on a front bumper?

I drilled two holes on the factory metal piece that is exposed under the RR. I don't have the RR skid though. The plate hangs down under the RR bumper. I also put mine toward the passenger side, not centered.

ok dude buy one of this plates they got different sizes so buy the one you think is right i think my was 2x36". cut it so it passes the winch hole about 1 inch on the back, drill two hole on the aluminum plate "that same length of the license plate crew holes" paint it black. put it on license plate on the front and the aluminum plate on the back so the bumper is on the middle and the screw with nuts will hold the plate
p.s i try to take some pics later and don't drill on the bumper dude, and i will only cost you around $8 for the plate and $5 for paint

I put my plate on a fairlead cover and have a strap that attaches through the rollers to the winch so it doesn't come off by accident or intentionally by someone else. When I go off road, I remove the cover with the plate attached.

Winch or non winch? If you've got a winch mount, check out Rock Dog Fab,they make a nice low profile holder that attaches to a hawse fairlead. For 30 bucks it's pretty well done.
And welcome to the forum, if you've got a question, you'll get plenty of answers. There are tons of pics, right ups and stories that will keep others in the house asking "What are you looking at over there?"

We love our and even did a quick mod to remove it while wheeling.

I have the plate mount that snaps on to the fairleads...that said, it has been in my back seat since I installed the bumper... 6 months and no problems yet. I was even stopped 4 speeding...yes speeding in a JK...a he didn't even mention it was missing...
