Default License plate mounting? OEM bumper.... Best location? Pics please?

I recently bought a 2012 JKU. It has nowhere to install the front plate which is required where I live. I don't have a stinger or aftermarket bumper. I'd love to leave it off but I'd rather not give the fuzz any reason to pull me over.

How did you install? Please include pics so I can get an idea of location and include any hardware or frame kits used. Thanks!

My bumper had holes in it from the same thing. It should screw to the plastic pretty easily

Did you just use sheet metal screws to accomplish this?

I just grabbed 4 really thick screws from the bucket, wasn't anything to specific.

If you look really close at the middle of the OE bumper you'll notice 4 dimples in the plastic that match up to the 4 slots in your plate. The dimples are also over pre drilled holes in the steel bumper frame behind the plastic fascia.
Pull out one of your rear plate screws to help shop for the front 4 - same size. Any auto part store has them. No drilling required when you mount at the dimpled location.
