Default Leveling Kit Help Please!!!

Just wanna start by saying I have searched for a answer for hrs before jumping on here cause I know it's a subject u guys have probably heard 1000 times but I figured it's my best bet for a answer.

I have a 14 2dr Sport.. I have 285/70/17 duratracs coming with 4.5 Backspacing wheels coming. It's going to be my daily driver that's why the 33" and possible leveling kit instead of 35" and 4" lift I had on a 10 4dr.

I'm leaning towards the Teraflex Spacer kit but a little leary cause my old lift was 4.5 front 4 in rear.. 1/2 difference. ... Teraflex is 2" front 1" rear... I've seen a bunch of pics and some look great but Def more than one seem like the front is act a touch higher. .. the last thing I want is negative rake.. nervous with the 5th 33 on the back and adding a tow hitch neg rake is exactly what I'll get.. has anyone seen or ran The Teraflex with a 1.5 spacer in front and the 1" in the rear..

any advice is greatly appreciated and or if anyone thinks I should go with a different kit.. I know pro comp has a spacer kit with 1.75 up front and 1 in rear which might be ideal..

Also with 33's I Wanna make sure if I did 1.5 up front it would be enough to notice...

thanks in advance guys.. have a safe night.

All that I have to add is on my 07 JK that had a TF leveling kit and 33's it sat perfectly level with NOTHING inside the Jeep.

What did it look like loaded down?

The level kit is a popular choice around these parts if you are wheeling or DD'ing it, but for anyone actually using it to tow anything (the above was a simple stand up jet ski trailer) you are better off raising the front and rear equally IMO.

Hey Thanks Man.... U happen to have a pic not loaded down... honestly just putting the hitch on to have it but don't plan on using it to often... Thank you very much.

It also had (IIRC) 18/59's on it. The hitch alone will add almost nothing weight wise.

Gottcha. ... Thank you. .. i was thinking about buying a set of teraflex 1/2 spacers. . I'm pretty sure I can cut the guide off them and stack them on the 1" spacer. . Run 2" front and 1.5 rear... or should I just do 2 all the way around. . Idk.. really starting to confuse myself. . Lol.. Thank you..

I'm running a 2" in the front w/o the isolator and 2 stock isolators in the rear (3/4")... Perfectly level.

Note I'm also running 18/60 coils which gave me 2 more inches

2013 Wrangler Sport; 35x12.5R15 Goodyear MTR's; 18/60 Rubicon springs & shocks; Lots of trimming

2012 JKS w/Teraflex spacer leveling kit. Very pleased, Jeep sits level. Have heard about Performance Leveling Kit (coils) sagging after a short time but can't directly attest to that.

Value of this kit is great, you will not regret installing this.

Good luck with your choice - and remember it is YOUR JEEP. Make it what YOU want.

John
