Thanks,
Tom

I wasn't given a run number or date. I did find out that the programmer I purchased was on the self at my vendors since June (I don't remember the actual date.)

Glad to be of help

Well I tried my new Accu Pro this morning and have also gotten the error message C1"ABS Module Communication Error" . Tried their help line but no support is available on the weekends. Hopefully they will get the correct unit sent out next week and I can try it again . Seems to be a common problem on some early units???

Take Care,

Where are these non-working models coming from? Can you update the firmware on the AccuPro via the internet?

Mine was purchased from 4WD Parts and was drop shipped from a warehouse in FL. You have to connect to the internet when loading the unit to get the latest upgrades of firmware loaded in the controller. Not sure why it is not recognizing the wrong version??? Hopefully I will get some resolution on Monday from Pro Comp on this issue.

Take Care,

I just recieved my replacement form Hypertech. Went out to the Jeep and the new programmer worked like it was supposed to do. The updates online did nothing to resolve my issue.

Thanks for the info. I figured that was the case. Although the shift points aren't changeable, correcting the speedometer reading will get the shift points where they were with stock tires. This may or may not help with shift related issues.

Thanks,

Tom,

Here is what the manual states on shift points.

REAR GEAR RATIO
Press ‘Y’ if the installed rear gear has a ratio that is different
than the original factory gear. This feature will recalibrate the
speedometer/odometer readings and part-throttle shifting for
automatic transmissions for the new gear ratio.

Please note if you are buying this ACCU PRO calibrator for a 2008 it does not work. I just got off the line with Hypertech and found out it is not validated as of yet for the 2008 JK, only the 2007 version has been released thus far and is supported by tech service. I wish that information was readily available at the time of ordering Now i have to pay the return shipping cost and still not have a correct speedometer reading

Take Care,

for anyone who is having problems with the abs control module i just received the update notification via email. You should be able to go and update it now so it works correctly. Has anyone else had their abs and bas light come on after the reprogram?

Three questions, is this programmer worth it, is there other programmers coming soon, and (the most important) can you do more than one jeep with the same programmer?

IMHO, yes, it is totally worth it. Don't know if there's anything else coming out soon and at the moment, yes, it can program other Jeeps.
