Lets see your undercarriage armor... I need your input!
I've been wheeling just a handful of times and have not had any issues yet. Currently running a 3" lift with 35" procomps, 2dr jk with smittybilt side steps/sliders. I know stock skids and what-not just don't cut it, well so I've heard. I'm slowly building my rig piece by piece and I think it's time to protect some of the important things. Your help and opinions are appreciated. What are some necessary items to consider first and foremost to prevent undercarriage damage? I'd also like to color match what I get, what is that process like? Anyone have experience and pictures to share? The more info the better. Thanks everyone.

Not sure of color matched, but I'm a big fan of the Rock Hard 4x4 skid system(s). Covers lots of components and is slick.

It'll be a while before I can afford to get skids, but I'd like to find out what I should get in order of importance. I have heard the Evap skid is high on the list as it is very expensive to replace. I would imagine the oil pan would be second, followed by the transfer case. But I am not sure.
My gas mileage is going to suck when I'm done with this thing. Ugh.

I know the purpose of skids, I guess most aren't going to be color matched. What about diff covers?? I belive those are mostly what I may have seen color matched. Anyone have a recommendation for them things?? Aluminum or iron? I like the looks of psc and they seem easy to paint. Thanks for the help everyone. Ohh... Anyone live in dc?? I want to meet other dc jeepers.
