These are all awesome.. I'm really liking the sharp points on the front flares ... When you all chopped them did you do away with your marker.. I read a few write ups that suggested putting the light inside the wheelwell which I see no sense in doing.. Do you think capping the open end off and tuckin it away for a possible future is the way to go as I'm humming and hawing about wheelwell LEDs later on

Also I want to keep the inner fenders I'm worried about salt and muck toying with the o2 sensor and bottom of the engine/tranny. Do any of you in the colder climates follow this rule or is it more headache than it's worth..

I'm also glad this thread has inspired some people to chop away I wish I had done this sooner... Warm weather is soon upon us

I didn't keep my inners but if I had it to do over I would definitely trim them and keep them in!

I kept both of my inners, most people chunk the rear but I like the idea of it being there..

As for the markers, they are required by law in every state. With that being said, most states do not enforce it... I left my connected and screwed it into the inner fender, that lasted 2 days.. I flexed my front and my market lens came shooting out in front of my jeep (caught on the GoPro too).. Not sure what year you have, but the '12's have a plug about 12 inches up the tail.. LED rock lights would be cool so I saved the plug off of my markers when I removed them.. I figured I could use some heavy duty Velcro on LED's and stick them on my inners when I need them and just plug them in.. I know, an awesome idea....:-)

Here is a really crappy pic of where I mounted my marker light, after I ripped the lens off..

By the way, trimming the inners tool less than 10 minutes total to trim all for so,,,,,, totally worth it... Let me know if you want details on the rear.

Just cut my bumper and added the vdp caps. Then decided to bed line it for a textured durable look. After a few coats I'm liking how its coming out. All one color, rougher looking, like it can take a hit. The cutting was simple since you do have room to play. Follow the directions and it'll be an easy install. Here's a pic while we worked on it and the end results before taking it off to spray.
