This is my buddies jeep. He did the smoked led lights from Recon. They are pretty awesome, super bright! Sorry I don't have a better picture of the lights themselves.

These are mine. They come with Metalcloak's corner armor. I believe you can put them on without the armor too.
Howdy. Did you do the resistor install with these? I've had these lights for a while and have yet to install them. Wondering how fast the signals blink without the resistor.

They were blinking fast and giving me a taillight out caution at first, but I wired in a 6 ohm resistor in parallel with the signal wire and it's been fine ever since.

Default 80w LED Tail Lights Fitted

Today I fitted the 80w LED replacements I bought for the 3157 tail lights on my 2014 JK. The photo shows one of the new lights on the left - whiter and brighter. The old 3157 is on the right. The standard lights are not very bright at all so an upgrade was needed. The LED lights only just fit, but they do fit fine. These were purchased from AaronLED.com.

so you only used one on the signal wire instead of one at each lamp. Where did you hit the signal wire?

Yes. I think the turn signal wire is the only one the canbus monitors because the stock bulb is a dual filament. I wired the resistor from the turn signal hot to the ground wire.
