Default Kumho or not?

I'm currently running 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T II tires on my 2013 2D Sport. I love these tires, but would like to go bigger, and more aggressive. I have been looking at Kumho Venture MT KL71 in a 315/70/17. Can anyone tell me about the noise, ride, and tread wear of this tire. Is this size close to 35"?
Thanks for your help!

I have the 315/75R16 Kuhmos and they have been great so far. Ive only had them for a little over 1k miles but they are fairly quiet (granted I have them a bit overinflated I think)
Nice aggressive tread too. Biggest downside is that they are directional

I had the KUMHO MTs 35x12.50r18 on my 2008. Great tire for trails, decent on street. I suggest you rotate them a little more often than normal since they're such an aggressive tread tire. They're definitely not as loud as my nitto mud Graps I'm running now. As mentioned, they are directional so that kinda sucks, but not the end of the world. They look pretty damn cool too

Great tire! Amazing in the rain even at the end of its life. Now with that being said, the first half of its tread life it is fairly quiet. Has a really nice hum. But after that it got louder and louder and it seemed to not stop. Other than that great tire. I got about 37k out of them.

I like this tire ok. I haven't run it on my jeep but it has been on my diesel for 46k miles. It is fairly quiet at first but as they wear they definitely get louder. At this point they are pretty worn and I can't hear anything but humming at high speeds.
Decent in rain and snow. They seem to wear evenly but I rotate religiously. I personally for a jeep like the Goodyear mtrk. Or Nitto makes some good ones.
On my truck when I replace them this year I will go with something else.

I've inly had them for about 100 miles now. I chose them over toyo's mainly cause the the price. I've heard good things about them and read good reviews. My buddy had them first and took me for a ride. I was sold. Check out tirebuyer.com I bought a set if 35x12.5x18 for less than $1,000.
