The dealer told me they would replace the entire steering column for me when I developed mine, but then once I found out it was a JK thing I wonder if it will even make a difference...

I get it as well when i turn. I feel it in the steering wheel and brake pedal tho.

I have the same problem. i just bought my 08 jkunlimited and when i turn the wheel left/right i can feel it thru the brake and gas pedal.

Mine was missing the bushing that holds the shaft in the fire wall. The JK was under warranty when it was fixed other wise it would of sucked. They had to replace the intermediate shaft.

Open the hood and see if you can move the steering shaft up, down, left and right to see if there is any movement. Thats what I did with mine and thats how I noticed all the play in there.
