KM2s on backorder
Anyone else having trouble finding a set of KM2s? My dealer said they are on a three month back order. I found some in Utah but need to ship them. all just a pain in the ass.

I received a note today from Discount Tire saying the 285/75-16 KM2's I was interested in are on backorder and they did not have an expected ship date. As an aside, I ordered some ProComp wheels that have been on order for over a month and I finally cancelled the order today. I think manufacturers have slowed production considerably given the economic climate, and this is unfortunately one of the effects.

From what I have learned from my tire guys is that the major manufacturers batch there tires. I've heard this story with Goodyear MT/R's also. It seems that they only retool and make these big tires only so often. If your lucky you will catch them when they are making them.
