Here's how I did it back in my racing days....

Take some white shoe polish (used for writing numbers on windshield) and put a dab on one of the treads. Get it nice and wet. Drive it so you make 2 marks on the pavement.

Measure the dots. Either start to start, middle to middle, end to end. Whatever. Divide that by pi (3.1415926535897932384626433832795 or however far out you want to go.)

That will give you the number to use to calculate your Procal correctly.

Actual size. For example, everyone calls my 315/75-16's "35's" but they measure 34" on the ground @ 28 PSI. I used my ProCal to set my speedo using the 34" value and it's dead-on w/ my GPS.

There is one other instance. I'm getting old and it is getting hard to climb up in my JK. That is why I have 35s. Regardelss of how tall they really are. If I had 37s I would need a ladder.

Also do you guys think I would be able to fit them without a lift? I got them on wheels with 4" of back spacing I'm just wondering about the fenders. My "plan" is to either do 2.5 RK lift now and flat flairs when I bump up to 37's or flat flairs now and lift when I do 37's. What do you guys think? Thanks
I have those tires and they will rub everytime you hit a bump or pothole if you don't lift it or install flat fenders. This is what mine looked like with wheels and tires installed without the lift.

This is what mine looks like now after installing a 3.5" RK lift with the same tires and wheels.

Thanks, I just ordered a set of bushwackers. I was thinking of just trimming the stock fenders but I like the extra coverage (required by NJ anyway)
