Default KC HiLites and KC Brackets

Anyone know if you can use regular KC Hilites on their windshield brackets of do you have to use the slims?

It doesnt seem like there is enough space to mount the regulars.

I'm not sure, but it would be a pretty tight squeeze.

I have the slims as well. Would definately be a tight fit otherwise
