K&N intake
I just installed my new K&N CAI that I got for Christmas, and naturally once it was in I revved the engine a few times to hear the difference...I noticed a lot of exhaust fumes coming out of the exhaust (much more than normal) and was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Changing your intake woud not make your engine smoke, and they don't have anything that needs to burn off on the intake. Maybe just the smoke you would normally see out of an exhaust on a cold day. Definitely not a typical thing to hear of after changing an intake.

agree.
the oil should only bo on the outside of the filter and not get pulled through unless it is over oiled, even then I dont think that would be enough to cause smoke.
Are you sure it is not normal?
